Yep! that's me, the same guy on page 11 of the 1999 Davis Instruments catalog. My station is now closer to the beach and I got the new Davis solar wireless sensor unit for Christmas. The main weather page is built by a VB program I started developing in 1998, still tweaking. ;>) It uses templates like the Davis Toolbox & taps into an Access database that has the sun rise/set, moon rise/set, & tide tables. It also email's a weather report at 4:05 daily to KSBY TV & KCOY TV in our local area and a few weather enthusiast that are on the mailing list. I'm looking for others who would like to start a weather station in the 5 cities area or contribute content to the 5cities.com site.
